A REAL LIFE PRINCESS

I met a real life princess! Member of the French royal family, Princesse Marina de Bourbon and she was as sweet as can be. Marina de Bourbon was married to a descendant of the Bourbon dynasty, one of the oldest and most traditional families of France who reigned during 1553 to 1848. The Princess made her way to South Beach to exclusively launch L’Or de Marina, in celebration of her namesake brand’s 20th anniversary. GIRL MEETS CURL

Ever since I’ve cut my hair I’ve had quite a few strangers ask me what I use to style my curls. In case you too are wondering, I did a post about it here a while ago. Toward the end of last year, I decided I needed a break from all the hustle and bustle… You know, the holiday craze, blogging, social media any and all needless busyness. I wanted to purposely withdraw, simplify and focus on the reason for the season. I’m pretty sure I’ve told you this before, but sometimes I busy myself so much that I find myself rushing through life just trying to get by. That’s why last year, around this same time I
